Sounds like you could also have a seized egr valve as you wouldn't lose full power with a knackered manifold, I had same issue last year and after stripping egr I found the solenoid pin jammed out but repaired it easily following the "how to" on here, worth a punt checking there first to restore some power, I found it scary at junctions nearly getting t boned. Just happens that I'm replacing my inlet manifold this weekend after taking over a year to pluck the courage to attempt myself.
