    confused Passenger side window switch

Small cosmetic problem on my Signum Elegance (150 CDTI) on a '56 plate (November 2006).
As you can see from the attached photograph the window switch insert panel is a bit "worn".
    Is it replaceable?
Simple question? No? well the problem is that the switch panel is not shown as a seperate part on the parts computer at my local dealers. They checked via reg number and chassis number. The parts diagram suggests that its not available on it's own, only as part of the door card.
Before I start attacking it, anyone got a suggestion?

Yes, pretty much looks exactly as the pictures still. Dare say it would scratch with sharp nails or rings etc, but it's probably harder wearing than that stupid rubbery coating that was on there previously.

Started taking the rubber coating off, I think I will go for your method then.

If you call that modifying, then you are clearly in the wrong place, lol!

Seriously though, it looks fine, and is a zero cost way of improving the look of a tatty switch in the meantime.
