    Default Brake warning light (o)

Hi i have a brake pad warning light showing on my dash and was wondering if there is anything else that could cause this illumination. I have recently changed front discs and pads and also bridged the wires together but the light still stays on does any one have any suggestions please many thanks

have you bridged the correct wires? someone did cut the abs wire by mistake as the brake pad wire was missing.

I had a pad warning a while back because the sensor had slipped from it's mounting and got mangled by the disc itself.

I believe that warning icon also displays for low brake fluid level.

Looks like you'll just have to eliminate points one by one ... if you can find the ECU end of the sensor wire you can then confirm continuity - obviously you are looking for a continuous loop from ECU to pad sensor and back as the sensor being worn away and thus breaking the circuit is what makes it work...

... once you've got past that stage it's then reassess and formulate a new plan.
