    Default new aircon condenser

After having my condenser diagnosed as leaking, ive just bought a brand new valeo condenser and drier off ebay for £30. Only up the road from me so picking it up this evening.

Hoping to fit it Wednesday. Read through the 'how to' and the discussion thread and hoping its going to be fairly straightforward.

Any tips or hints to help me?

I know the system is empty coz I had a guy out to regas it and he found the condenser to be leaking do he left it empty. So I just need to remove old condenser and drier and fit the new ones. Then take it somewhere for gassing.

Is the pipework on flarenuts or is it braized in? Also, what is the condensor pipework made from?
If it iscaa on flarenuts its pretty simple, just a case of unscrewing everything, removing, and then replacing. Check your filter drier and make sure you fit it the right way round, it should have an arrow on it, make sure you replace it inthe same orientation as the original. If it is braized pipework its a wee bit more tricky and depending on material you will need a blowtorch or a mapp gas cannister to unsweat and then resweat the joints. You will also need some flux depending on pipework material. If you have any questions give me a shout.
