    Default Z20NET. dump valve?

Got myself an atmospheric dump valve as really dont see point in a recirc, yes i knoq there quiet an less chavtastic but i like the sound from a dumpvalve. I got it after replacing my turbo which cost me a small fortune! To help relieve pressure build up when i do use Turbo.

Can i just fit the dump valve or will it interfere with anything?

Also next on my list is the dreaded timing chain as i get a rattly sound on stat up from cold, then when heat builds up goes away, first thought ac pump. Who has done theres an is there anything i should watch out for?

The whole "point" of the recirc is to keep the turbo spooled up so that it's available immediately when you press the loud pedal. Dump all that pressure to atmosphere and you have to wait for the turbo to spool up again when you put your foot down hence massive turbo lag.

Your call of course, but if the choice is instant available power when it's needed or a noise sounding like a horse has farted in the engine bay, I know which I'd prefer

I had a re circ on the skyline then put an atmospheric on it and thought the atmospheric felt better, but i dont really hammer or race i am just looking to put less strain on turbo hence i was thinkin atmospheric. I know recirc is to help keep boost up for quicker response but can also build up pressure

on my old signum turbo, i simply put a performance cone filter on mine, you then have the standard system but you can hear recirc valve. best of both worlds, also get a bit of induction raw. miss my old siggy T.
