    RANT TIME .... CDTI 150
Today i have done an oil/filter change on my motor, its the first time i have done it on this car so i was going blind.. All was going well, took off bottom engine cover drained the oil fine then it come to filter time.. Which numpty designed that idea, i ask who in the right mind would put a filter housing up back of an engine. aarrgghh.

I managed in the end without to much of an oil slick up my arm and on the drive.

    Job done, Yeh..

I use one of these as it makes it easier to undo: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Laser-Oil-...item2ec500d562

Another one of my pet hates, along with impossible to access bulbs and mechanics who don't keep the steering wheel straight when tracking!

9 times out of 10 I end up hammering old reliable (my bashing screwdriver!) through the housing assuming it's not a cartridge filter...
