Hi does anyone know where the water pump is located on the z20net? Also is it aux or chain driven? Thanks

How long do you think a garage would take to do it?

There's no point doing the waterpump withought doing the chain so factor in the extra cost.

It's driven by the balancer shaft chain, so first the timing chain has to come off, then you get access to the balancer shaft chain. It's not meant to be a consumable item, so rarely goes wrong - what's leading you to believe yours is knackered?

It's over heating. The thermostat, temp sensor and coolant have all been changed. The heads defo not gone. Not losing any water and no sludge in oil

Then I guess that the water pump is indeed your next bet. If the chains haven't been changed, this is the opportunity to do them at the same time.
