With work being quiet today I decided its about time I got off my lazy backside and installed my hertz hsk165 componants as I've had them a while

first off I decided to do some sound deadening, a few sheets of silent coat per door







i bought some mdf rings off eBay and a chippy friend of mine made some thin mdf adaptors to mount to the doors, they have been covered in silent coat and bolted to the doors then the hsk midbass was screwed in.



Finally I'd bought some spare tweeter mounts from the breakers yard and drilled them out to mount the tweeter as its too deep to mount from behind.



Hoping they will bed in nicely so I can get my boot build made then I will rewire them once my genesis profile 4 ultra is installed and see how they sound with 300wrms up them
i will also finish sound deadening the doors once the new wiring is in.
