Going from one motorway to another round a bend ABS sensor and range F miles has come on and stayed on, any ideas why?

The F means "fault" (i think), you need to get the codes read out really to get a good idea without guessing. But theres a number of things that can cause this, mainly a broken sensor (requiring a new wheel hub) or the wiring is shot (bare cable touching chassis, cut cable or just the wire has been exposed and rusted to breaking point).

Get the codes read, without the fault code you'll spend hours (if not days) checking things over.

Will read them when I get home on Monday as in Weymouth till then they've gone off now after couple restarts and not come back on
