2004 54 Vectra Elite 150 CDTI Hatch - spares/repairs (current MOT and tax)

I've decided to sell this car as it's now surplus to our requirements.

It's a 54 plate Vectra CDTI Elite in need of some love and attention as she has done 158k

Good points are,

Within the last year its had
New genuine VX battery (3 weeks ago)
New genuine rear discs, pads and calipers (about 2k ago)
4 new monroe shocks (3k ago)
4 new tyres about 500 miles ago (enduro)
Timing belt and water pump changed in August last year (genuine)
New upper control arms
New drop links (meyle)
4 arb bushes
A drivers side wishbone (new)
Inner tie rods and track rod ends
Oil change about 5k ago (new air, pollen and oil filter fitted)

The engine runs like a dream with no faults at all (ecu updated at vx in October last year) and it pulls like a train for a standard car.

No knocks or rattles from the suspension

No rust

All the electrics and air con work (drivers heated seat doesn't heat up as much as the passengers)

The leather is near mint for the mileage. You'd have to see it to believe it.

Facelift Elite gear stick fitted.

No wear on the steering wheel or pedals

Kenwood DPX 503 stereo




Now the bad points are:

The DMF is completely knackered, the car drives fine and the dmf quietens down when it's warmed up but it needs replaced.

There is a slight leak from the crank shaft oil seal (and I mean very slight) which could be replaced with the DMF

The car had an smd conversion done and i've changed most of it back to the standard orange. May or may not bother you.

The bodywork is tired, although there aren't many dents there are a lot of age related chips and scratches.


The car is MOT'd until the start of July and taxed until the end of June.

Two advisories on last years MOT were

Noisy exhaust (good used exhaust fitted since then)

Front to rear brake pipe corroded.

I'm looking for £750 but I will take decent offers, great work car or a car worth breaking.
