Rebuilt engine cranks.but no start

Hi have a 2.2 direct had problems before and have ended up taking engine out to rebuild and after six months or so put it back in refitted all parts it now turns over but will not fire up when I turn on key I have eml flashing along wit oil light flashing too it appears that no fuel is getting to to engine any ideas please

Check its getting fuel?
Check fault codes and data list when starting?
Are you starting the engine with the bores 'dry' or 'wet'?

What where you previous problems?

have you double checked all sensors are ok?

can you view any actual data?
cranking speed etc?

Quick test is check you have a 5v reference at any of the engine sensors.

will it run on some carb cleaner?

Won't start on carb cleaner live data I can get is telling fuel pump relay working

If it won't go on carb cleaner get compression checked

Compressions are good been checked engine has been rebuilt

Is the timing ok ?
was the chain/tensioner replaced ?
is there plenty of oil in the engine ?
what fault codes are in the engine management ?
if there is no fuel are the fuel pump and regulators working ?

what was wrong with the engine to start with ?

New timing chain kits eml flashes when ignition turns on original problem not reving more than 2500 with rattle then can sproket sheared of bent valves
