    Default Never again

i should have known better, to be honest, gettin the `floppy` wipers from asda, cheap and usually rubbish, got a pair before winter set in and they were fine, until a few weeks ago, they started to smear even after a wash, so i thought asda again, no worries

how wrong i was, the passenger side wiper is fine and works a treat, however the drivers side was a right state, miss a section of my side, at eye level in a big way when returning down, and it irritated me so much, i`d thrown away the packaging already so i thought i`ll have to buy another one from asda, the price had come down too, from £7 to £4, even cheaper!
now you`d think i would learn from the first mistake, but my thinkin was it can`t happen twice, can it?

yep same problem! only not as big, but irritating at eye level to miss a section of screen on my side on the return down, so now i`ve found both receipts for both wipers and the packing for only one wiper, i`m thinkin, that i`ll only get a refund for one wiper and get stuck with a wiper i`ll never use, from now i`m goin back to standard bosch wipers all round, never using asda ever again

    You're doing well.

You were just bothered with unwiped areas, but I've seen much worse : poorly made wipers twisting so the metal inlay would scrape on the glass. Killing the windscreen in the process, of course. Don't temper with that !

BTW, I've changed the classical ones for flat aero blades a long time ago (compatible models that retain the classical fittings) and couldn't go bak. I also changed the rear wiper arm for a facelift's factory flat blade model. What I can say is even when worn, it still wipes much better than a classical model.

What I'd like to find now would be flat wipers made out of silicone rather than rubber, for even longer lifetime. Especially because of the intense sun heat we've got here almost all over the year...

I bought some aero wipers from eBay for my Signum, amazed just how good they are. Perfect clean and practically silent too. Were something silly like £7 or £8 delivered for the pair.
