Punto is still more reliable than any Diesel Powered Vec
When they actually start and then there is the risk of falling through the floor due to rust
One of the worst cars we've ever had. The city park thing is cool though....until the motor over heats and stops working
My ex had a Punto. Was awful to drive and felt flimsy compared to the vec. Issue with power steering couldn't be traced even by Fiat....!
In 7 years the Wifes Mk1 only ever broke down because I never changed the timing belt, and it never failed an MOT, and her mk2 has easily been as reliable as my Vec, all its needed is 2 rear shockers and 1 top mount.
My ex had the yellow sportive or whatever they where called, I actually thought it was alright looking, did feel cheap inside like...
Actually about the same, but i'll take getting from a-b reliably over worrying about whether the EGR, DMF, DPF, 3rd Injector, turbo etc is about to fail, every day of the week
Because they are mate. Still a genuine 50+ mpg car for next to no cash though.
