my 54 plate Signum has the cd70 sound/navigation dohicky. There is no mention of MP3 playback in my manual but I've seen a few threads suggesting that some of them do this.
does anyone know if they all do, or only after a certain year?

my 55 plate does, i burn the cd's using itunes, create a new play list, sort by album and burn.
My 56 does but its picky.
Ah I used iTunes and it won't play! So I'm assuming mine doesn't play mp3 lol mines a 2005 cd70 with gid...
Maybe it's a firmware/software thing?
the cd70 ive just removed plays mps and so does the cd70 that ive just fitted
ok so the consensus seems to be that they may be picky but at least most of them do play mp3 discs. I'm going to give it a go and see what happens
Would love to know what discs people are burning them to and the technique so I can try it in mine?
i use nero and i have maxells.
i buy them from b&m bargains lol...............so theyre nowt special bud
Lol there probably better than my tesco own brands though! Not value ones I must add!
Ill try Nero though coz I used iTunes
