Billy bargain day 2
was infored that a scrap yard had a cd70 with colour nav.
went this morning and the guy had the screen in the office. the head unit and RGB cable was still in the car.
took it all out and tried it in mine............worked perfect.
now fitted to mine
so ive went from the cd70 navi with GID to cd70 navi with CID
the only thing was i had to use the preface surround in mine as the one for the GID has a smaller space...........it'll do til the facelift one appears

Did you get the passcode or the VIN number in case you add others things and need to program the HU and display

he had about 6 or 7 vec c's in all preface, but there was only one elite.....the rest were LS models

If you ever want to change settings in the display like if you add bluetooth or tpms it will need a passcode costs about £30 of ebay but if you can get it before the car goes its a lot easier then at your convenience you can get the code changed to match that of your cars.
i was told in the pm from the member who told me about it, that he's be looking in the region of £100.even thats cheap.
when he said £60 i nearly dropped. i was gonna haggle him to £50 but my son stopped me.
he sid that someone had came and gave hi the screen and told him to hold it for him and he'd be back, but the guy in the yard said he never returned.
so.........his loss lol
