Default Signum 3.0 V6 air box mod?

Hi guys. Seen that a lot of you appear to have done this modification. Just wondered if it is possible to do on the V6 diesel, if so is it difficult? Also does it make a noticeable difference to the performance? Thanks in advance, Adam.

I have mine done on my signum v6 Cdti and I know people will disagree or say its in the mind but in my opinion it is more responsive around the 2k mark and smoother delivery. So imo do it Adam

Did you remove the lower (intake) part only?. Or did you cut the "output" part also? I took the lower part off, but I think the "output" pipe should also be cut to make the airbox work as it should be? Filter is only partially dirty, so air is not fully moving? Sorry for my English I have a hangover and my brain is not working at it`s full potential like the airbox
