    Default Fitting a Colour navi

    Could someone from the southeast help me fit the aerial for the colour sat nav that I am buying. Im not sure how to fit it

    You can make your situation very easy for about £8. Many on here who have gone from the likes of a CD30 to CD70 all came across the problem of trying to retrofit the loom and antenna base on the rear of the car. Solution is to buy a GPS antenna off ebay with a Fakra connector. The GPS antenna can be placed where the center speaker goes on the dash close to the windscreen, and the cable will then thread through and connect to the back of the CD70. Its totally invisble, no sign of any wires and perfect GPS reception.

    oh ok then, so then i don't need to put the new aerial on the car then?

    not really. The existing areial (white connector) will connect to the CD70 to give you radio, and the new one for the GPS.
