dpf ? can some one explain please!!!!

I keep seeing posts about ppl saying there getting dpf or something removed before remap..what is a dpf and will I have one on my 1.9cdti 150????

Cheers, but im srill unsure as to if my car has one or not? And if so if it woukd be worth getting it taking out and remapped along with blanked egr ?????

They are definitely fitted to all estates, all automatics and signums I believe.

I have an automatic and I chose to physically remove the dpf myself and then have a remap which included dpf and egr deletion from the ecu.
