    Default My Homemade Ashtray Light

As i have changed from blue leds to red and white I wanted to finish with the ashtray light.

Really easy to do then I thought I have a few Red, Green and Yellow 3mm leds with resistors.

Will have blue and white leds coming in next week,

If anyone wants one made up just send me a pm.

    Free of course.

    Thanks Popo

There is a connector taped back under the ashtray. I unwound the tape then chopped off the vx connector and put a choc block on it.

This now feeds my cubby hole and ashtry lighting.

Its actually very easy to do believe it or not.

    Hi Stephen

If you lift out the ashtray and the housing you should find a connector tapped up. Its has a live and negative connection. will pop out soon and get the colour of the two cables for you.

I chopped off the vx connector and used a choc block.

I would be more than happy to talk leds with you whatever you have in mind

Just send me a PM on what your ideas are etc.

    Cheers

    Chris
