Is it just speeding your being done with?
yeah mate an been caught 2year ago on phone!!!
you wont loose your lisence with 6 points
iv only got 3 pal an iv dun a bit reserch b4 coming on here so hopfully should just get points an fine!!! gunna have to slow down lol
Quite a lot of additional information is required and questions have to be answered before confirming
For starters, it depends on the licence on the day of the recorded offence
Next, we have the method use for speed detection
Finally, is the verbal warning and its nature
29mph over the speed limit is normally dealt with by a simple court case, pleading guilty early will reduce the fine (but not the points)
For the points, it will depend on the licence on the day of the offence
However if there are no live points, then expect 4 points (for the 50mph speed limit on a dual carriageway in good driving conditions)
With respect to the fine (in England) this starts from £115 when pleading guilty at the first court appearance, and a minimum of £155 if pleading not guilty throughout
This fine would be the equivalent to 15% of your weekly wage (average over the previous 3 months on the court date)
Any other questions, send me a PM
I've defended a few people, inclusing myself, in court and have had many cases thrown out
My personal opinion is "Innocent until proven guilty"
My most recent case was thrown out as the police vehicle, although following, did not have a calibrated speedometer fitted
However, when I inspected that police vehicle (when the certificate was made available) the serial numbers did not match
Got caught doing 92 in a 60 single carrageway
not a good position to be in with two of ya.
basically it's referred straight to court.
i got away with it and my mate got 5 points and 650 fine lol
did learn my lesson, well slightly anyway
Sounds to me like, whether you get the result you want or not, you need to change your driving habits, nearly 30mph over the limit is not an error, and for the "previous" handsfree or bluetooth phone kits have been available for years.
