    Default HIDS being a pain!

Bought my Hids about a month or so ago now and after some trouble with the canbus cancellers with next to no help from Hids directi solved that myself.
However, ever since I've had them, about 1 in 5 times one side won't fire ( more often the right ) and I've tried silly little things like turning the switch slower etc but still nothing, tonight I had to turn them, on and off 5 times for it to light up and it's doing my head in now. Anyone got Any ideas or solutions?

    Thanks

Ask for a full refund, and get some decent kit from another supplier.

Swap ballast or bulb over (whichever is easiest) to see if the fault moves to the other side. At least you'll be able to work out whether you've a duff bulb or ballast.

If you've only had them a month, Send the whole lot back fella ! Why should you be messing with it after 4 weeks ?

I've just had the same problem and it was the ballast. Hids direct don't like helping people much do they.

If you send them back, do it by recorded delivery, as they deny having never recieved my return ballast. Their answer was to claim of the post office. Be warned.!!

this should be done whenever you fit HID's, saves loads of hassle.

Do the HID's work when the engine is not running?
