Exhaust Diameter

Evening,

I have a pre face 2005 1.9 8v CDTI and I have the dreaded hole in the flexi pipe, Ive been given a quote on cutting out the ruined one and fitting a new one for £50 which is alot cheaper than a new pipe with CAT.

However after looking at replacement pipes they come in different sizes, I need to pick up on where the internal diameter is the same as the external diameter on my existing exist.

Its the stock exhaust on the car, so what size diameter is the front pipe?

I've just measured mine this afternoon as its blowing and it's a 55mm bore but can't remember the length of the flexi section!
