Default Wheel spacers ,yes or no?

Been looking at my elite rims and can't help thinking they look a bit narrow in the arches, I have a set of 5mm spacers in the shed and I know that's not much but it may make them look and sit a bit better, thoughts please

You wont really notice 5mm to be honest, you are better getting hubcentric ones 20mm rear 10mm front. Im using 25mm rears on 18" rims and 235 tyres, lowered 35mm with no rubbing probs or anything

Hubcentric ones made for the car are always better than universal ones that dont even bolt on to hub separate. You can buy 5x110 hubcentric ones for around £60-£70 but worth it for the safety of the wheel sitting securely. Remember if only putting the 5mm universals on, you still will need extended bolts ideally.

I've got 25mm on the rear with 19's and 40mm drop, I'm going to 30mm soon tho

Think there's a 9mm difference between rim lip and arch edge between front to back last time I checked

No mate no issues, iirc Andy got rub but only after we fitted the FKs, mine I modded the arch as it "can" catch on the welded fold where the rear quarter and bumper meet, if you feel up and under it sits proud... Rubber hammer sorts that tho, now there's loads of clearance even with boot full

Think Andy dropped to 22's and may even put the 16's on now instead, not sure. But he has 245 rears, I'm on 235's...

Same 16's as Andy... But I'm going to test various shims on the rear then see what's the max I can get away with, same with front... But on paper 30 rear 20 front should give same stance, fingers crossed
