cd70 mech

have been having problems with my cd70 staying on after engine is switched off finally got round to getting it looked at and have been told it needs new micro switches and a new mech at a cost of 280 plus vat this seems a lot to me anyone know if im being robbed.
for the mean time ive had the satnav disconnected so i can still use the stereo

replacement one on ebay is only about £150 for a whole unit, a cd sledge itself is only about £50 or so
