I bought one of those last time they were on offer and it died completely! Was going to return it but can't find the receipt.

What's your experience of them?

I bought mine "for emergencies". When I needed to use it about 18 months later, it refused to charge.
It ended up in landfill unfortunately, I never tried to claim or find the receipt thinking it would be a waste of time after 18months.

Just another instance of "if it is too good to be true, then it probably isn't" IMO

I bought mine for the same reason, so it stayed in the box for ages. It was only when I needed it about 6 months later that I got it out and found the instructions said it had to be charged once a month to make sure the battery stayed in good condition...

Aldi stuff is usually ok and carry a 3 year warranty worth keeping receipts, I was more meaning the cleaning stuff

Yep i have that jack and had no problems a lot of their stuff is sourced from Germany

Take the rubbish battery out and fit a better more powerfull one.
