    Default condensation in lights

    Hi,
    I have got quite abit of condensation in drivers side front head light. The cover is ok not cracked or any holes.
    any suggestions.

    Have you checked the seal inside the cover, they can perish.

    Seal looks ok, maybe i'll replace it.

    Sometimes you can't tell if seal is doing it's job, try a bit of silicone sealeant round it after you dry condensation first, failing that a new cap costs £5.95 at dealers.

    When i fitted my hids a month ago, i drilled the bulb holes far too big for the supplied gromits.

    the result is was the gromits are a very loose fit and certainly not airtight. I decided against sealing with silicon and decided to wait and see what would happen.

    I have had no misting up whatsover.....even after driving 3 weeks in heavy snow and rain

    stick a moister gel pack in there had the same on mine after i didnt fit cap correct and it fell off (ops) was cleared in a day or 2 after putting the gel pack in

    As above the good old Silicon gel pack thrown in does the trick .
