Kitchen Taps Query

Does anyone know where I can get replacement handles for kitchen mixer taps as shown in the photo below? They're plastic with a chrome effect on them, which means the chrome wears off with use, and replacing the handles will mean I don't need to throw away what is other wise a very good set of taps. I've tried ebay, but no luck unfortunately.

I've seen a few of these, all with the same wear and tear issue
I would suggest you buy a cheap one from eBay UK, then remove the controls as they will most likely be damaged in the process
You can the work out how to remove yours without damaging them, then arrange for them to be rechromed

Sadly it is most likely that a replacement will be the only option; welcome to throw away Britain

The chrome end covers will flick out with a small flat screwdriver and you should then see the screw that holds the tap hande in place. Take one with you to PLumb Centre or B&Q to see if you can get something that will fit.
