Limp mode help

Hi guys

Since fitting a new inlet manifold to my f/l vec c z19dth auto the car keeps going into limp mode every few minutes having to drive with opcom connected

After scanning it keeps coming up with these 2 same faults but doesn't give me a description.

P2279-11
p1901-75

I've googled and 1 comes up as dpf fault and the other as an air intake fault, I've checked everything I can think of and there's nothing loose that I can see around the inlet manifold. With regards to the dpf I've manually regen it and saturation shows at 22%

Can anybody shed some light or maybe know a possible cause? it's doing my head in and having to take the kids on the bus to school as car isn't safe to drive.

Check for intake leaks mate.

Try squirting carb cleaner around manifold area see if revs change

That won't work, the air would be comming out on a diesel, never in. Use soapy water and spray around the manifold. You should see bubbles if you have a leak.

It's turbo charged, the inlet is above atmospheric pressure caused by the turbo, so if there in an intake leak it will leak boost as opposed to suck in air.

Naturally aspirated engines (non turbo) get their air by the engines compression sucking the air so squirting carb cleaner would work but on turbo engines the turbo forces the air into the engine hence forced induction so the manifold is under pressure (that's why they have dump valves) so washing up liquid or something similar would show the leak by bubbling
