Maybe I should split this out over a couple of threads, but never mind!
1. Performance - the 2.0DTi is better than I expected for 100bhp, but still getting used to the difference from the 2.5V6 petrol 'B' I had before. The difference in fuel economy is superb (it's why i ditched the V6) - I did Croydon - South Paris - Disneyland Paris - Croydon on 1.25 tanks of fuel which is fantastic, however i'd like to make her just a bit perkier - what are the best value for money performance upgrades to the 2.0Dti? K&N? 'Zorst?
2. I've got one of the older style (non quadlock) head units (CCR 2006 maybe), which has exactly the same 3-block iso connector from the Veccie B. Can I use my old pioneer/vectra stalk and ISO adaptor for the signum as well?
3. I notice my stereo has 'on-off logic' (I.e will turn on without the ignition) does this mean that my pioneer headunit will need an ignition feed from somewhere else, or does the existing stereo just ignore the ignition?
4. (Final question). The car is an ex-rental, and as expected, it has a few little 'issues' that need resolving. Most are being done under warranty, but the garage has said that non-critical bodywork issues are part of the 'sold as seen' price of the car. I can accept this. The only problem that I need to get fixed is that on the nearside lower corner of the tailgate, the plastic 'shell' of the gate has come away from the metal bodywork underneath (I'll try and get a pic later). I can see some sort of black foam has been used to glue the two together in the factory - how can I best stick these back together myself? It's just annoying when I lift the boot and feel the bits coming apart!
Hope that all makes sense...
