    Default Checking MAF power Supply

    Anyone know how to check the MAF sensor power supply or Voltage supply as thats what's come up and a Solus Scanner.

    And does anyone know what kind of reading i shud get when i manage to check it? my cars a 2.0DTI 54Reg

    • Ignition OFF
    • Disconnect wiring harness connector from:
      B69 Air Mass Meter
    • Ignition ON
    • Measure voltage between the following terminals:
      B69 Air Mass Meter
      Wiring harness connector (wiring harness side) terminal 2
      &
      B69 Air Mass Meter
      Wiring harness connector (wiring harness side) terminal 3

    NEEDS TO BE GREATER THAN 11v


    Then:

    Measure voltage between the following terminals:
    B69 Air Mass Meter
    Wiring harness connector (wiring harness side) terminal 4
    &
    B69 Air Mass Meter
    Wiring harness connector (wiring harness side) terminal 3

    GREATER THAN 4.8v

    Maf voltage errors are normally just down to them not having the connector fitted properly. Try reseating the connector, I searched this error a while back and this was advised of this and it worked.
