    Default Fuel prices shooting up......................

Glad i don't own a VXR could deffo not afford to run it at todays fuel prices and i read there expecting it to shoot up much more by the summer this year,!!

Lets be Honest if it hits £2.00 per litre we have no choice but to pay it to get to work etc but this will kill off most enjoyment when it comes to driving trips out.

£1.31 petrol a litre and rising almost every week, Not good if your getting 28mpg is it?

So you VXR owners do you still like driving your motor?

Another 4p on a lt come April too apparently. that's at least a 30% rise in 2 years, along with all the other rises in everything else in that time too, and my wage rise last year, 1%, well at least I suppose I got a wage rise.

It may affect car values like the tax emissions did, e.g. trading in a 1.6 Zafira on a 53 plate - traders wont touch them because folk wont buy a car like that at over £400 excise. - Petrol cars will be a thing of the past .... by July at this rate¬!

Not fussed as I only do max 8000 a year, and if I did much more would swap to company car and get a little Derv.

    £1.34 for V Power here.

I dont drink or smoke so dont really care. I would like it to be 70p a ltr but I cant do much about it so I just get on with it.

running the 2.8 is getting more and more costly but TBH it was never purchased as a car to get decent mpg from, it was bought to enjoy! and thats what i intend to do ...right up to the point i have to sell it as i cant afford to run it anymore ....... but it wont go without a fight not within the near future anyway

0-Large smile ......every time it's driven
