Where to get paint?

Say I just wanted to do a small area of my car, what kind of shop would I get paint in? I've seen people use paint out of aerosol cans (for cars obviously) but any car shops I've been in havent had any. Any ideas?

halfords usualy have a good selection of paints

As above, Halfords or VX Dealers. Have you tried Googling for automotive paint in your area?

I got some touch up for 5.32 inc lacquer (ultra blue)

Vx dealers sell paint cans in a two pack with a lacquer can included, for about £11 (or you can buy the same stuff for £20 on ebay). Halfords have some Vectra colours on their shelves, but most colours have to be made up by them instore. I suggest you buy it from Vx as the spray nozzle seems to be of better quality than the Halfords one, which produced quite coarse spots of paint rather than a fine spray.
