Default Picked up my vectra Sri cdti today

Hi everyone I picked up my 55reg vectra Sri cdti 150 today and I'm very pleased with it apart from the control bar for swirl valves has come off the manifold, I have seen new inlets on eBay for £150, how much should I be paying a garage to fit this and do I need a new actuator or can I use the old one, also will the cambelt need to come off to do the manifold, if it does I will replace that at the same, does anybody know any good garages in Middlesbrough area or anybody want to do it with/for me, I would pay obviously, any help much appreciated

Did you buy from a garage? Have you no warranty or come back on it, as the swirl valve faulty should have sorted.

Just finished my one today and unfortunately i need to change swirl actuator cause it works intermittently (fault code P1109-62) and spaner displayed on the dash. Thanks to "djr69uk" and "the-wizard" I was able to do it on my own on my driveway without any ramps or pit. Before You do anything just check your actuator - if valve no. 3 moves whilst revving the engine your actuator still works. I didn't check that before and now need to do half job again
p.s. Don't need to remove cambelt, very helpful link http://www.vectra-c.com/forum/showth...+valve+replace

Thanks for the advice, I did see the how2 but not sure whether to attempt it on my own, how much are the actuators, anybody want to earn some cash and help me?

I didn't get it from a garage, I knew it had th fault when I bought it and I only give 2700 for it because of the fault so I think I got a good deal, cheers everyone
