used to work in a bodyshop - if theyre not melted on they just fall off again although they appear secure and appear to have clipped in, chances are if youve just pushed them on, and hit a bump youve driven over it!? next time you put it on use some araldite etcon the tabs at least give it a chance

Think they're just an easy trophy for people, they just pull off with a bit of force, and it's probably highly funny for those on the way home from the pub late a night or kids infront of their mates. Either that or someone's nicked it to replace theirs with.
Is this the 'V' or just the Griffin on the front? Can't see how the 'V' gets removed without lifting the bonnet
