    Default Working on cars in the snow!!! brrrr...

    Blimey it was cold....!!!

    Full Service, Breaks, Inlet clean and rad change on a car today (not mine BTW lol)...

    OMG it was cold.. The snap-on gloves actually were a godsend today!

    Anyone else been 'at it' in the snow?

    Yeah - lol... TBH whilst I was doing it I was thinking 'am I mad'... lol

    Worth it in the end.. Was for a friend of a guy at work and you have no idea how much the dealer wanted to charge him for the work above!

    Haha I agree. Changed my plugs to iridiums a few weeks back in the early minus figures...

    Did the HID's today at -5 with snow upto my shins lol. No gloves though... can't risk losing any screws or owt... I find a scarf and hat with your jumper and jacket etc will keep your body warm enough to regulate your hands

    Although... being a Mechanical Engineer in the army... it beats being on a training exercise lol

    do it every day at work , the workshop temperature is about 2 degrees above what it is outside

    great isn't it lol! Our workshop heaters should be classed as air conditioning... oh no sorry they do blow warm heat too... in the summer

    At least you had some decent gear to wear. Speaking of which, where do you get the Snap-On etc clothes from? I've got some from my dads mate for working on the car but they're past it now. Were very tough though. Looking at gloves, pants jacket kinda thing.
