just bought 2.0 dti,started ok before freezing weather now will start but takes a while

Could it be my glow plugs,my spanner light comes on for a while but goes off after trying to start,will start after quite a few turns of ign,key!!!

what voltages do you have on the battery?

After it starts does the spanner light go out and stay out if you restart the car?

If so it probably is a duff glowplug

Oooh someone else with the same problem as me.
Lets hope yours doesnt turn into a 3 week stay with Vx with it coming home still not fixed (long story)
But Id go with the simplest thing first.. Plugs.

Yeah got the last plug changed and it was starting great untill today, took me a while and 3 attempts
