- Points of Interest are places like hotels, restaurants, petrol stations, tourist venues, parking lots; even cash machines.
- Pioneer sat nav systems have a large amount of POI’s stored in memory. Certain POI’s, such as hotel chains or petrol stations, can be displayed on the map with their specific company logos or with a 3D icon.
- You can search for a POI by name, category or via the Destination Search according to the city. This is helpful when trying to locate a hotel, store or even a golf course without an immediate address at hand.
- The Vicinity Search displays specific POIs in the surrounding vicinity. You can also search by cuisine-type restaurant listings.
