    Default Vec edition100 turbo problem :(

    Hi all, im new on here annd been having problems with my vectra turbo (Z20NET) going into limp mode, im led to believe its overboosting.

    Can anyone advise as to which pipes to check, the correct routing of the vacuum pipes to check, engine breathers ?

    I just replaced much of my boost pipes with silicone pipes from abay.. There are various sizes so check first..

    Its the first cheap way to check...

    There are two boost valves that sometimes fail, one is next to the turbo, one is at the front of the engine to the left of the throttle body. They cost about £12 each and the part numbers are listed in the Z20NET spec sheet in the Modifying/Tuning section.

    do you hear an hissing sounds more than you are used to? What year is the car, before 06 plates it was Garrett turbo, after that it was a Mitsubishi. The Garrett can have a few issues over time.. I lost power and found the boost pipe tha t goes from the intercooler then under the engine and up to the turbo had a fault, their is a 3 inch piece of hose that joins the pipe to the turbo compressor housing, mine had spilt at the bottom and slipped from under the jobilee clip, just loosened the clip and reseated it all and done.

    Others have had issue with the Charge Air Bypass Valve and replaced them, cost about £25 for the pair, have a read of this thread: http://www.vectra-c.com/forum/showth...light=55354158

    thanks again all for helping, it seems ive got two threads going on the same fault now ! and a pm's to from deztroyer, ive almost even lost track of my answers, thats how bad it is !

    update, adjusted actuator arm out and its looking promising !
