Default Inlet manifold done on extended warrenty

Just had ma car back (2006 1.9 CDTI 150 54k) from Vx with a new inlet manifold and actuator, new thermostat and housing, reconditioned gearbox (6speed) new air conditioning condenser regas and clean and a full service...bill was £2600 but i had an extended warrenty with warrenties direct and the forked out for £2100 of the cost well happy

soooo maby if anyones manifold needs doin and any other problems might be worth perchasing one cost me £400 for the best one they do with air bag and electronics add on, and a waved excess fee (usually £50 but with a bit of haggaling)

oh and just fitted my DTUK green tuning box

I need to get warranty for my car and I thought you couldn't take the car back to vauxhall, instead out would have to be an approved warranty direct garage. Can you give me more details of the warranty direct plan you got?

Warranty direct are one of the few companys that will cover wear and tear and not just failures.

Only thing is you are not covered for 90 days (I think) after the policy is taken out. This is so you dont take the cover then hit them with faults that are already there.

You have to pay a premium to take it to a main dealer not in their networked garages cost me about an extra £80 its the Extra care policy shown in the link below hope this helps let me know if you need anything else.

yes thats right you arnt covered for wear and tear for 90days but if the fault only starts to give symptoms after a long period technically no symptom no fault so......
