Default How do I make wipers stop halfway?

As above, just so I can put a sheet on it a night? Tried holding wiper arm for few secs but still return to down position?

Get a sheet long enough that you can put both ends into drivers door and front passenger door then close both doors to keep the sheet in place over the windscreen. Don't think the wipers would be strong enough to hold in place especially if there was a strong wind.
