    Default i know the mods i want now

    right after months of umming and arring ive now set my mind on a twin exhaust (standard sri 2.2), big brakes whick i need help with finding please, also i want a 57i kit on it if their worth it, oh and gotta be lowered so any help with pointing in the right direction would be cool, ive been quited 90 quid for the k&n from demon tweeks (fitted)

    Been a few threads on cone filters. Enclosed expensive but good, open degrades performance as soon as engine warms up.
    That's one of the reasons I went with airbox mod and K & N panel.

    only on turbos mate his is a 1.8

    i cant see y not, i have had k&n on both my non turbos but when i went to get one for this i was told turbo gets too hot from hot air it pulls in lol even though it should be pullin in cold air lol but didnt risk it

    Stick with an enclosed filter or a K&N panel with the airbox mod. An open filter will suffer from heatsoak petrol/diesel/turbo/non-turbo they will all suffer

    Never noticed any difference on my GSi with a £20 open cone filter from eBay. Actually its still in the garage.......(sounded great too)
