Default Button led change with solder glue

Would anyone use this instead of solder to avoid heat damage to the PCB http://www.smallbattery.company.org...._wire-glue.htm there is no pressure like on a remote micro switch so would it be alright, may try it on one. so next question- are the switches programed to to ecu like on a volvo? as I can't afford to have to buy a new switch and have it tech2 to the car.

Funnily enough my factory SMD's were soldered and glued to the PCB when I did my conversation on the door switches, pain in the rear I must say. I melted part of my drivers door switch and just replaced it from ebay. It was plug and play for me but couldn't tell you about a full can set up.

I would say no to that then , just solder it , but use the right soldering iron ( you need to use the right iron to take them off too) , that stuff will be ok for a temporary repair or maybe joing wires , but I wouldnt use it on a PCB , especially near plated through holes incase it doesnt expand at the same rate as the tracks.
