Default which fuses do i need to check?

Over the last week or so i have installed an aftermarket double din.

The first time i connected the harness to the iso i got a tiny spark from the harness end of the connection. At first i thought nothing had happened and was just one of them things.

As it stands at the minute......

    1. the abs light is on

    2. the steering is heavy and on the light is on where it is a steering wheel with a ! on it.

    3. the speedo does not work and the trip disdance under the speedo cannot be reset my pressing the button.

    4. On the infotainment screen, a few of the options have an "F" instead of the relevant info. ie. " F Miles "

im going to start by checking the fueses but im unsure of which ones to check and which location they will be on the car.

    just after a few pointers.

    thanks, chris

Dashboard may be a cim issue but check fuses F17 & F26 on the passenger side

abs light - might be worth checking abs plug on the front calipers

Power steering - maybe the pump or something to do with the cim but its bust and needs fixing

If fuses are ok best bet is get codes read as the cim and power steering pump are mega expensive

Is your stereo all sorted now?

It's a vectra so it probably can , the cim controls most of it so double check those 2 fuses are perfect ( might even be worth replacing them just to rule them out) before getting codes read as i'm sure the cim is around £400
