    Default Power stearing belt?

    Hi all

Can anyone help. My steering is doing all sorts of strange things. It feels like the power steering belt is knackered. At low speed (5-10mph) when I wobble the wheel the there is a delay in reaction of well under a second but there is a delay. when stationary if I turn the wheel slightly the steering wheel has a mind of its own and moves from left to right on its own.

Any help with diagnosis would be appreciated before I put it in for diagnosis.

Slight misinformation. The PAS system is hydraulic, but the pump that operates it is electrically driven.

Have you checked the fluid level? Most reservoirs are under the offside headlight behind the front bumper.
