vec vxr exhaust

hi guys, what exhaust is on the vectra vxr, ive been told its a 2.5" stainless steel remus system from the turbo back, and that it has a precat and main cat?? and that its good for 350bhp? can somebody put me right on this please.

what benifit is there in pulling the precat off and/or the main silencer? is the precat to gain a couple of bhp's and silencer to gain a little noise? im looking to buy a vec vxr within the next month or two so would like to find out all i can about them
