ive got a 2.2direct vec with twin exhausts and was wondering if anybody has swapped the back boxes for straight through pipes from the mid section silencer and is there any noticable difference in the sound and emmisions .

no boxes on a petrol car means lack of back pressure loosing torque, does increase noise level if you want go for a stainless purpose made system that has boxes but can be made to specific noise wanted
