2005 CDXi V6 Engine problem!

Hi guys i recently bought this car as my wifes first car. it was cheap because of its issue with the motor!

The motor has done 6000 km since rebuild! the car has dont 178000kms...

I had the car put through engine scan and it came up with camshaft sensor circuit open so i have changed it with a new one!

Also said Random/Multiple cylinder missfire detected
????

someone said it might be due to timing belt tensioner or water pump failed causing timing to be out....

I doubt its the water pump cause its not overheating and the heater works really well....

could it be the tensioner?

it also doesnt go over 4 k Revs???

The misfire could be due to the coil pack. They often failed on the 2.5-3.2 V6s when installed in the Omega (due to the silly location mainly), but could also have gone on this one.

i just got the computer cleared and its come up with P0700 which is transmission system control.. which would explain why its not going over 4000k revs. but does it mean i need a new computer or something wrong with the transmission which needs to be looked at...??
