I noticed this right after I put mine in too. I left the covers off over night then refitted next day, this allowed the moisture out and has not been an issue since. Did you get a nice tight seal around the rear cover and where the grommet goes through it?

I had to install two HID kits, one in my car and one in my mates. I did it out side so the temperature and moisture didn't get into the units. Whilst I was in the process I noticed that the headlights on the vectra are vented anyway. Theres a little vent on the under side of the unit.

When I first did it they steamed up, but after leaving them open for a few hours in the day they were fine.

I wouldn't have done it overnight because of the moisture at night time but if it worked for you then happy days.
