Default Wanted: Vectra C SRI Rear bumper Valance

    Hi All,

I want to buy a rear plastic valance for my vectra SRI 2008. It needs to be the twin exit valance, so it has a hole on each side for the twin exhausts. If anyone has one or knows where i could get one, please let me know. Vauxhall is too expensive so looking for used.

VXR diffuser is much cheaper @ about £40.00 than the SRI one that is about £70.00

get the VXR one paint it satin black with a rattle can and still save about £20.00

Is that to buy from the main dealer?

Also wont the VXR one look a bit odd with the twin SRI round exhausts coming out? As the holes in the VXR on are shaped around the VXR triangle tailpipes

yes the VXR cut out's are a little bigger and more shaped to suit the VXr tailpipes but they still look good...

have a look for pic's of them fitted

is that def the VXR one? as the holes around the exhausts dont look that much bigger.

So you think matt black as opposed to glossy black?

    Will that need laquering?

that is it, told you it looked good didnt i lol

get satin black no laquer neded, it comes primer grey, just flat it off and then spray it, leave a day or so to dry and then get busy fitting it, old one will be a barstuard to remove and you will need to cut 2 plastic leg's of from the bumper as they are slightly in the way (you will see these once old SRI one is removed) then it's a bit of a fight to fit the new VXR one,

dont forget to drill a hole in the end of the long tab's on the new diffuser as there are none there for the push rivits that secure them to the bumper

thats all it takes and about a hour all in for a first time job

    HTH

and for the record there are/were 2 types of this diffuser avv or there were any way,

this one (in your link) is the standard GM VXR style diffuser fitted to all VXR vectra's,

there is/was another that was made by VXRPC/888 racing that had bigger fins was deeper fitting upto the spare wheel well and was a fitted to the 2.0 turbo SRI limited edition homologation car's for the btcc series, these were more expensive and are very few and far between to find
