Hi all,

Thought I'd give spraying my side skirts a go. However I'm finding conflicting information. I've applied the colour coat and its been left to dry for 24hours. However most articles then say apply lacquer and alloy to dry. But the Halfords Guide states you should wet sand the metallic to get a dull finish and then spray the lacquer on top of that???

Does that sound even remotely right? I've got one worry which is that my colour coat may be patchy. I really can't tell as it may just be the light reflections. However I was thinking if I follow the halfords guide, and sand it down to a dull finish, it may help the colour be more uniform?
